So, last Christmas break I was back home in SF when I heard that there was a shooting @ Sacred Heart, a Catholic, private high school where many of our friends attended. The victim, Terray "Tat" Rogers, was a father of one of the girl's on the team. Turns out, the daughter of the victim, Tierra Rogers, is one of the best high-school players in the country. Not only that, but Tat was working to help quell the incessant violence in the Hunters Point district of my hometown, San Francisco.
